Matt Lamb

Matt Lamb is a dedicated educator with a passion for fostering student growth and building positive relationships. While not initially drawn to teaching, his experiences with Sunday school and coaching ignited a love for working with young people.

Matt cherishes the profound impact he can have on his students, particularly those who overcome challenges to thrive academically and socially. Witnessing a student's transformation from silence to confident participation remains a highlight of his career.

He believes that creating a safe and inclusive learning environment is crucial for student success. His teaching style emphasizes student voice, collaboration, and active listening. He inspires his students through positive encouragement and a consistent commitment to their well-being.

Matt has been married to his wife, Charli, for 20 years and they are proud parents to two sons, Braxton and Dawson. The Lamb family has embraced the Sallisaw community for the past six years, wholeheartedly supporting the Black Diamonds.
