Superintendent – Steve Barrett

Our mission is to encourage student development and personal growth as they transition from early childhood to young adults. The staff of Sallisaw Public Schools is dedicated to the belief that all students can learn, and therefore strive to provide unique learning opportunities for each child. We will work each day to make Sallisaw Public Schools the best school district possible while providing a positive and supportive environment.

We will remain resolute in our commitment to student success in helping them achieve college or career readiness while providing extra-curricular opportunities to expand their horizons and competitive fire. In addition to academics and extra-curricular activities, the staff of Sallisaw Public Schools will strive to develop young people into productive citizens of the community, exemplifying character and moral integrity. Partnering with parents and community stakeholders, the students and staff of Sallisaw Public Schools have limitless potential. These partnerships are vital to student success, and we hope for the continued involvement of parents, guardians, and our community members. We hope you find the information you need on our website as we provide information and share our history and successes.
