The first day of school will be here before we know it! We are excited to welcome our Liberty families back for another amazing year. Below are the important dates and events you’ll want to keep handy as we kick off the 2026–2027 school year.⸻
Enrollment Information
IMPORTANT FOR RETURNING LIBERTY FAMILIES
If your child attended Liberty Elementary last school year, you do NOT need to enroll them again. Your child’s enrollment will carry over to the new school year.
The enrollment dates below are for new students enrolling at Liberty Elementary.

Wednesday, August 5 & Thursday, August 6
8:30 AM–2:30 PM
Enrollment at Liberty Elementary will be for:
* PreK 3
* PreK 4
* Kindergarten
1st & 2nd Grade Families
Enrollment for 1st and 2nd grade students will be completed through the Sallisaw Public Schools Enrollment Center.

Kindergarten Orientation & Meet the Teacher
Tuesday, August 11
5:00–6:00 PM
Families will begin in the Main Building Cafeteria, followed by classroom visits at 5:15 PM.

Jr. 1st, 1st & 2nd Grade Meet the Teacher
Tuesday, August 11
5:30–6:30 PM
This is a come-and-go event. Families are encouraged to bring school supplies and complete any remaining paperwork.

5:00 PM – Cafeteria
5:15 PM – Classroom

Pre-K Meet & Greet
Friday, August 14
9:00 AM–12:00 PM
Families will receive an assigned time to attend.
* Three families will be scheduled every 15 minutes.
* This provides an opportunity for teachers to get to know each child and family before the first day of school.
* Please bring your child’s school supplies with you.

The Liberty Elementary office will reopen on Monday, August 3, from 8:00 AM–3:00 PM.
