Tuesday our Pre-K and Kindergarten students had the honor of welcoming Finley Henderson, Miss Oil Capitol’s Teen, to campus!

Finley shared her heart with our students as she spoke about her platform of supporting our military. This cause is very personal to her, as her dad served our country. She read a book about military life and helped our young students begin to understand the sacrifices service members and their families make each and every day.

After the story, our students colored pictures that Finley will include in the “Hug Boxes” she sends to deployed service members. What a sweet and meaningful way to teach gratitude, kindness, and service at such a young age.

We are so proud of our students for learning about service, sacrifice, and giving back.

Finley will soon be competing for Miss Teen Oklahoma, and we wish her the very best as she continues to serve others with grace and heart ♥️ 🇺🇸
