DEVICE UPDATE
We are writing to inform you of some important changes to our student technology program for the upcoming school year at Sallisaw Middle School and Sallisaw High School. These adjustments are being made to better support student learning while also ensuring the long-term sustainability of our technology resources.

Sallisaw Middle School
At Sallisaw Middle School, we are transitioning from a 1:1 device program to a classroom-based model. Instead of students being assigned individual devices for the entire year, most classrooms will now have dedicated technology carts. This allows teachers to more effectively integrate technology into daily lessons and ensures that devices are used for instructional purposes within the classroom setting.

Sallisaw High School
Sallisaw High School will continue its 1:1 device program, where each student is assigned a device to use throughout the school year. However, we will no longer be offering a separate insurance program. The school will continue to provide necessary repairs for devices that experience normal wear and tear.

Please be aware that vandalism or intentional damage to a device may result in a repair fee. It is important for students to care for their assigned technology as they would any school-owned property.

If a repair fee is assessed and not paid, the student will no longer be able to keep their assigned device and will be required to check out a device daily from the library to use during school hours.
