Max Knoke, an 8th-grade U.S. History teacher and former OSSAA Regional Golf Coach of the Year, brings a unique and engaging energy to Sallisaw Middle School. Max views teaching much like a golf course—believing that while some students take more 'swings' than others, every single one is reachable. By prioritizing a relaxed, fun environment and building strong relationships during everyday moments, he instills leadership and resilience in his students, teaching them to navigate the 'course' of life
