Sallisaw High School strives to provide a variety of programs to engage all students. Partnerships with CASC and ICTC allow students to acquire college credits and industry certifications. Students also have numerous extracurricular activities to choose from, including athletics, fine arts, academics, outdoor ed, and much more. Continuous improvement is the expectation of every Sallisaw High School faculty, staff, and student.
Haleigh Blount
Haleigh Blount serves as a 9th-grade ELA teacher and Student Council Sponsor at Sallisaw Public Schools, bringing over a decade of experience in communications and marketing to her classroom. Haleigh’s philosophy centers on helping her students reach a 'flow state'—a level of intense concentration and deep enjoyment in their work. By balancing a warm, inviting environment with high expectations, she encourages her students to embrace their mistakes and pursue lifelong learning with passion and purpose.
