Sallisaw Public Schools

The Sallisaw Public Schools Basketball Program (class 4A) is for boys and girls in grades 5th through 12th. Players in High School (9th through 12th grade) will be required to tryout each year to make the team. Players in Elementary and Junior High (5th through 8th grade) do not have to tryout, however, each team will only suit up 10-15 players (at most) per game.

• 5th grade - 1 team (boys and girls)
• 6th grade - 1 team (boys and girls)
• 7th grade - 1 team (boys and girls)
• 8th grade - 1 team (boys and girls)
• Freshman (9th grade) - 1 team (boys and girls)
• Junior Varsity team
• Varsity team

High School (9th - 12th grade) basketball tryouts are normally held annually in July. Students who make the high school team will attend a 7th hour class for this program.
