Sallisaw High School Band

Sallisaw High School’s Black Diamond Band stands as a shining example of musical excellence and community pride. The program includes marching, concert, and jazz bands that have earned top honors across multiple class levels.

The marching band captured the Oklahoma Bandmasters Association (OBA) 4A State Championship three years in a row—2021, 2022, and 2023—while also bringing home Sweepstakes awards and earning superior ratings, including “Superior,” at OSSAA concert assessments. Supported by a dedicated booster club, scholarship programs, and a full complement of ensembles from middle school through high school, Sallisaw’s band program continues to foster musical talent, leadership, and community throughout Sequoyah County.
