Miss Native America

Lillian Benge (center) was crowned by Cherokee Nation Councillor Daryl Legg as SHS Miss Native America during a special ceremony held Saturday, February 8th, 2020 in the high school gymnasium. This is the first Miss Native America since 1984 for Sallisaw High School. Mrs. Judy Merrill JOM Coordinator and Ms. Michele Hughes Title VI Tutor Native America Club leaders were very proud of the hard work and effort the students put into this event.
