Matt Chandler is a 2004 Graduate of Westmoore High School in Oklahoma City. He recieved his Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education from East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma. Mr. Chandler served as drum major for the Pride of Tigerland Marching band for two years, ran the ECU Pep Band, and was a member of the ECU Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, Brass Ensemble and Percussion Ensemble. After finishing his student teaching at Southmoore High School, Mr. Chandler's first teaching position is here at Sallisaw Public Schools as Assistant Band Director for both Middle School and High School. Mr. Chandler has been married to his beautiful wife Amanda since 2007. They have no children, but their Jack Russell Terrier named Jackie fills the gap. Pride In...Excellence.
